Best Girls Trip Destinations

I thought this would be an awesome post since I am currently planning a girls trip with a few ladies. Also, I have been gone for a WHILE. It’s been a hard year, started new jobs and potty trained my son, WOO HOO!!! I digress, back to fun trip stuff, less about my currently boring life. Oh don’t think I forgot about the boys,I have a boys list. 😉

Bali, Indonesia

This is first on my list because it is where my girls trip will take place. Not only will this be a beautiful destination, but it will also be a spiritual one. Bali boasts some of the most amazing structures, temples, and the most relaxing environment for travelers. Bali is best visited between April and October. Be forewarned that Bali on experiences two types of weather, rainy and dry, I prefer dry if I’m looking to journey around the amazing sites. Events to experience during this time are:

  • Bali Arts Festival (June-July)
  • Nusa Dua Festival (June-July)
  • Bali Kites Festival (July-August)
  • Indonesia Independence Day (August)

Dubai, UAE

Dubai is a sight to be seen, the modern architecture is jaw dropping and the traditional architecture will make you have all of the feelies. The city is decadent and will make you feel like you’re richer than you actually are. It’s hard to tell you where to start first, I can just give you a list to start:

  • Burj Khalifa
  • The Dubai Mall
  • Dubai Fountain
  • Palm Jumeirah
  • Dubai Creek
  • The Desert

There’s just too much, just make a list and try and see everything, I MEAN EVERYTHING!!!

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Beaches all day! You and your girls can lie on the beach and take in all of the sun and beauty of the ocean. If your friends are into art, check out the San Jose Art District . The local artists showcase their amazing creations in the Art District is unmistakable, even if you aren’t an art fan, the atmosphere isn’t one to pass up.

Dublin, Ireland

This may seem like an awkward choice, but it is truly a destination that will make you closer with you girlfriends. This destination is less about lounging and relaxing and more about taking an adventure around something so full of history and culture. You and your girls can do a few pub crawls, less clubbing more pubbing.

The Exumas, Bahamas

The Exumas have a place for every traveler, whether you and your friends are looking to bask in the sun all day or snap pictures with cute little piggies. There’s not much to say, The Exumas are the place to be.

Just like Dublin, this isn’t a place to sit and watch the clouds go by, Curacao is chock full of things to do. Not only are the colors a sight to see in the more inhabited area, but in the west side of town there are hills and sweet little vintage fishing villages. Take your time and enjoy the whole island if you can.

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Punta Cana had a bit of a lull due to the news early in the year. However, I never stopped recommending it. Punta Cana is so inexpensive and if your girls and you were looking forward to go to Jamaica, but didn’t have the funds for it, Punta Cana can be a great substitution. You can get a 5 star luxury all-inclusive hotel and party like you’ve never partied before. I may actually make a post about Punta Cana, so you know everything you need to know before you get there.
